Die beiden Sponsoren einer gewagten Freeclimbing-Action ihres Schützlings Mattia Werner veranstalten eine große Pressekonferenz als es dort zu einem Eklat kommt. Der verletzte Freeclimber Fabio Badia geht nämlich auf Mattia los und beschuldigt ihn sein Leben zerstört und seinen Platz eingenommen zu haben. Als am nächsten Morgen Mattia erschlagen aufgefunden wurde, fällt der Verdacht natürlich sofort auf Fabio, da dieser gleich zwei schwerwiegende Motive für die Tat hatte. Zum Einen war ein Wettklettern mit Mattia Schuld an Fabios schwerer Verletzung und zum Anderen hatte Fabios Freundin Paola auch noch ein Verhältnis mit Mattia. Obwohl Fabio dank ausgiebigen Konsums von Schmerzmitteln und Alkohol keine Erinnerung an die Tatnacht hat, glaubt Pietro nicht an dessen Schuld. Als er sich schließlich mit Fabio zusammen eine Videoaufzeichnung dessen Unfalls anschaut, erkennt er plötzlich die wahren Hintergründe der Tat.
Nachdem Giorgio sich von Miriam getrennt hat, versucht er vergeblich seine Liebe Chiara wiederzugewinnen. Diese ist jedoch glücklich mit Marco zusammen und glaubt Giorgio auch nicht, als dieser erzählt, dass er Marco zusammen mit einer Anderen gesehen hat. Erst als Marco zudringlich wird und sie alleine im Wald zurücklässt, ruft Chiara Giorgio zu Hilfe. Auch im Liebesleben von Vincenzo geht es chaotisch zu. Astrid hat sich offensichtlich in ihn verliebt, allerdings hat er selbst noch große Gefühle für die zurückgekehrte Silvia. Die Hochzeit von Franz, zu der Vincenzo zusammen mit Astrid geht und auf der zudem Silvia zusammen mit Tobias auftaucht, macht die Situation dann natürlich auch nicht gerade leichter. Pietro trifft unterdessen auf der Straße erneut auf die blonde Frau mit Anyas Tätowierung. Er will sie natürlich sofort ansprechen, jedoch wird sie von einem Bewacher weggeführt. Pietro folgt den Beiden in ein Hotel, von wo sie jedoch entkommen können. Er findet lediglich einen Casinochip in deren Hotelzimmer.
Es handelt sich bei dieser Episode um die zwölfte Folge der zweiten Staffel der Serie Die Bergpolizei - Ganz nah am Himmel, durchgehend gezählt ist es Folge 24, in Deutschland Folge 25.

| Mattia a falmászás bajnoka. Van egy komoly ellenfele is, Fabio személyében, aki néhány hónappal korábban tisztázatlan körülmények között lesérült. Mattiát holtan találják, és a gyanú egyből Fabióra, a legnagyobb riválisra terelődik. Közben Vincenzót teljesen összezavarja Silvia visszatérése. Pietro ismét látja a lányt, akinek ugyanolyan tetoválása van, mint Anjának, és a nyomába ered. |
