| On 10 June 2023, a real rarity was performed at the Bud Spencer Museum. For the first time since the theatrical release in the GDR in December 1982, Bud Spencer fans were able to see the GDR dubbed version of "Flatfoot in Egypt" again. For a long time this version was lost, but now thanks to the Deutsche Kinemathek and Rialto Film it was possible to organise a one-off screening. |

| Even before the event started at 7:30 pm, some fans gathered in front of the museum. The weather was excellent and Jorgo provided the right atmosphere with a bit of live music on the accordion. Punctually at 7:30 pm, the admission finally began. There was a small reception with sparkling wine and orange juice and a little later presenter Andreas welcomed the fans to the Terrazza Napoli - the small cinema hall of the museum. To get in the mood, there were shown a few rare TV appearances by Bud Spencer first and, as a special highlight, a brand-new trailer for the upcoming German version of Bud Spencer's last TV series "The Crimes of the Cook". Afterwards, Andreas guided the fans through the museum and everyone had the opportunity to take pictures of themselves with the lifelike figures of Bud Spencer and Terence Hill. After everyone had been supplied with pictures, drinks and snacks, the actual film screening finally began. |
