According to the Italian magazine "Chi", filming for the second season of the series "Piedone - Uno sbirro a Napoli" has recently begun in Naples. Salvatore Esposito returns to the role of police commissioner Vincenzo Palmieri, and his colleagues Silvia D'Amico and Fabio Balsamo, familiar from the first season, are also back. The new season is once again being produced on behalf of Sky Italia. |

At ‘Nobody’, Terence Hill's bistro in Dresden, there is now a new exhibition featuring many original props from Terence Hill's collection, in addition to delicious food and ice cream. In addition to the Harley from "My Name is Thomas", which has been in the restaurant for some time, there are now also props from "Superfuzz", "Double Trouble", “Renegade”, "Lucky Luke", "Watch out, we're mad" and much more – all originals that made film history. We have therefore updated our information page about the bistro with new pictures.

| 2025-12-06 - 11:52 am - Soundtrack of ‘Two Missionaries’ now available on LP and CD |

The soundtrack to Bud Spencer and Terence Hill's adventure film Two Missionaries has been released in Italy on LP and, for the first time, on CD. When the film was released in cinemas 51 years ago, the film music by brothers Guido and Maurizio De Angelis was also released on LP in Italy. In Germany, only a single with the title song Mañana was released at the time. Now, half a century later, Beat Records has taken up the cause once again. The reissue of the LP comes with the original cover from back then, and for the first time ever, the soundtrack is now also available on CD. Both releases contain the same 12 tracks as the original LP from 1974. Of course, the unforgettable title song is included, but there are also other great melodies such as ‘La Leccion’, ‘El Barco de San José’ and ‘Bimbo Limbo’, which transport you straight back to the South American jungle. The soundtrack can be ordered directly from the Beat Records online shop. Those who prefer to order from a German shop will find what they are looking for at Chris' Soundtrack Corner, for example.

At next year's Spencer/Hill Festival in Ilmenau, you will have the unique opportunity to win a meet and greet with Terence Hill himself. This grand prize will be raffled off along with many other prizes as part of a tombola. To participate in the tombola, you must be a member of The Bulldozers fan club, purchase raffle tickets and then be present in person at the festival. Membership in the fan club costs €15 per year and, in addition to the opportunity to purchase tickets, offers several other benefits, such as free admission to both museums, discounted festival tickets and the digital edition of the fan magazine Double Trouble. Last Friday, the Terence Hill bistro ‘Nobody’ opened in Dresden. Representatives of the press had the opportunity to take a look around the restaurant in the morning before the doors opened to the public at 11:30 a.m. There were no guests of honour at the opening, but many fans came to the restaurant on the first day to take pictures of the stylish interior and, above all, to enjoy the many delicious dishes and drinks, especially the original ice cream from Gelateria Girotti. We have put together some information and pictures from the opening day for you.

The new TV series 2Piedone - Uno sbirro a Napoli2 (Flatfoot - A Cop in Naples) starts on Sky in Italy tonight. The series attempts to capture the atmosphere of the old Flatfoot films, but without imitating Bud Spencer's character, even though the new Plattfuß has some similarities, not only in appearance but also in character.
The new flatfoot is called Vincenzo Palmieri, is a police officer with a gruff manner, often grumpy, not always playing by the rules, but with a big heart and an unshakeable belief in justice. The link to the original is that Palmieri was a student of Inspector Rizzo, who is still a legend in Naples. Palmieri is played by Salvatore Esposito, who may be known as the villain Genny Savastano from the series ‘Gomorrha’. In the first episode, Palmieri returns to his hometown of Naples after a long absence, where he now investigates various cases at the police station in the port of Naples.
The series consists of four feature-length episodes, which will premiere today on Sky Cinema Uno. Bud Spencer's son Giuseppe Pedersoli was also involved in the development of the series and the idea. It is not yet known whether the series will be shown in Germany or other countries, but there is hope, as Sky is also active in many countries and some scenes of the series were also shot in Germany.

On December, 2nd, the Italian music label BEAT Records will release the soundtrack to "Even Angels Eat Beans" on CD and LP. The soundtrack will be released together with the soundtrack to "Charleston" (1974), the direct sequel to "Even Angels Eat Beans", but without Bud Spencer. The CD set contains all the tracks from the first release from 2011 plus three tracks released for the first time on CD 1. The second CD contains the of "Charleston" (1974), of which only a single of the title track ‘Why is everone so mad’ has been released to date. The double LP set is a real novelty, as both soundtracks have never been released on LP before. However, due to the length restrictions on LPs, one track is missing compared to the CD. The CDs and LPs can now be pre-ordered from the Beat Records online shop.

On September 30, the Italian music label BEAT Records will release the soundtrack to I'm for the Hippopotamus on an LP for the first time since its release in 1979. The track list includes all the tracks from the original LP plus four additional songs. A new CD release is not planned this time. The LP can now be pre-ordered from the Beat Records online store.
Beat Records will present the LP on 28 September at the Music Days in Rome in the presence of composer Walter Rizzati. A special edition of the LP will also be available at the fair, which includes a single, a poster, a music brochure and a shopping bag with the film logo. Unfortunately, this version is not available in the online shop.
